“Borderland: The Line Within” reveals how the U.S. immigration enforcement apparatus has evolved into a “border industrial complex,” exploiting vulnerabilities in immigrant communities for profit. The film interweaves first-person narratives of immigrants resisting deportation with data-driven analysis to show the human and systemic costs of migration policy.
