Join BRC, Detention Resistance, Lunch at the Park, Radical History Club, and Third Space Reading Club for a fundraiser film screening of Borderland: The Line Within – a film documenting immigrants resisting and organizing for their human rights in the shadow of the vast border industrial complex, a multi-billion dollar business of surveillance, detention and deportation. The interwoven stories of courageous immigrants seeking a way forward sheds light on the human cost of the struggle, as immigration is used as a wedge issue for political gain and as a gateway to authoritarian rule.

The film is in English with Spanish subtitles, and there will be live Spanish-English interpretation.

Tickets are sliding scale, so pay what you can, but no one will be turned away for lacks of funds. The funds will be used to support our compas from OMDC to Palestine.
